How To Find Us - By Bus

The Kings Head is served by the excellent Sixes and Transpeak bus services, all running into Duffield via the A6:

The Sixes run every 15 minutes into Duffield from both Derby and Belper (hourly in evenings, with extras on Friday and Saturday evenings, and half-hourly on Sundays)
The Sixes also run to and from Wirksworth, Matlock, Bakewell, Heage, Ripley, Openwoodgate, and the Belper Estates (see bus timetables for times to and from these destinations)
Transpeak runs into Duffield every hour from Nottingham, Derby, Belper, Matlock, Bakewell, and Buxton. Some Transpeaks also continue to Stockport and Manchester.

Northbound buses (from Derby)

The Sixes stop both right outside the Co-Op (about 100 yards from the pub) and also right opposite the Kings Head.
Transpeak stops outside the Co-Op only.
