About the Kings Head

The Kings Head is a traditional English pub in the Derbyshire village of Duffield, which is just north of the City of Derby. The pub is located on Town Street in the village centre of Duffield, on the main A6 trunk road.

The Kings Head has a rather varied history. It was once visited by Oliver Cromwell, and it is believed that the pub (just the pub itself, not the accommodation barn) was haunted by ghosts.

We offer a range of drinks to suit all tastes; beers, lagers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks.

Functions

The Kings Head can host small and mid-size functions, parties, gatherings, etc in our 2 function facilities; a cosy downstairs function room, and a function barn next to the main pub.

Accommodation

At the Kings Head we offer accommodation and B'n'B facilities. Our accommodation facilities (which are NOT haunted BTW!) are in a separate barn conversion at the rear of the pub.
